Series 75 Manual Pinch Valve: Red Valve Manually Actuated Pinch Valves are reliable, maintenance-free, cost-effective valves engineered for tough slurries, abrasives, and corrosive chemical applications. The 100% full port design eliminates any dead spots or crevices, seats or bearings where slurry can hang up and impair operation or even cause complete valve failure. Manual Pinch Valves feature bi-directional droptight shutoff in a design that meets the same face-to-face dimensions as gate, plug, and ball valves up to 12". Manual Pinch Valves employ Red Valve's state-of-the-art elastomer technology to provide smooth venturi flow, centerline closure, and excellent throttling characteristics. A number of options are available, such as the Series 75B design for buried-service conditions. AWWA nuts, chainwheels, stem extensions, and bevel gear actuators are also available.
Series 75 B Buried Service Manual Pinch Valve: The Series 75B manually operated Pinch Valve is a reliable, maintenance-free, cost effective valve designed for tough slurries and abrasive and corrosive chemical applications below ground. This intrinsically safe Pinch Valve, which was developed specifically for underground service, is sealed with an epoxy coating and features an above ground position indicator for instant identification if the valve is open, closed, or is in the throttled position. There are no seats to grind, no stuffing boxes to repack, and no packing gland to adjust, ever, with the Series 75B. The pinching action is on centerline so the valve closes on a smooth venturi and is self-cleaning.
Series 70 Manual Pinch Valve: Series 70 Manual Pinch Valve is the counterpart to the unique Series 75 and has the same design features and advantages, but the heavy cast iron housing is eliminated and a strong fabricated steel body is in its place. The Series 70 is less costly, lighter, versatile, and can be used when the location of the valve is not exposed to attack from corrosives or other volatile material.
Air Operated Pinch Valve, Type A: Air Actuated Pinch Valves offer a cost-effective solution to flow control problems. The secret is in the rubber sleeve - the valve's only wetted part. Actuation of the valve, the pinching action, is accomplished by air or hydraulic pressure placed directly on the elastomer sleeve. The valve body acts as a built-in actuator, eliminating costly hydraulic, pneumatic, or electric operators. The sleeve's flexibility allows the valve to close droptight around entrapped solids. In general, 25 psi over line pressure is required for full closure of air actuated pinch valves.
Megaflex Pinch Valve: The Type A Megaflex is the most economical large diameter automatic valve available. First introduced by Red Valve, the Type A Megaflex Valve, available in sizes 20” to 84”, is extremely simple in design and principle. As with every Red Valve Pinch Valve, the elastomer sleeve is the only wearing part, drastically reducing maintenance costs. The Megaflex Valve’s full-ported actuation is accomplished by air or hydraulic pressure. The Megaflex Valve’s steel body acts as a built-in actuator, eliminating costly pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic components. Pressure within the space between the body and the sleeve can open, throttle, or close the valve. 15 psi over line pressure will close the Megaflex. Like all Red Valve Pinch Valves, Megaflex Valves are full ported.
Series 2600 Miniflex Pinch Valve: Manufactured on the same design principles as Red Valve’s Type A Valve, Series 2600 Miniflex Valves are the simplest and least expensive control valves available to industry today. The Series 2600 is designed with threaded end connections, enabling use on small lines (1/8”-2”).
Series 4700 Aluminum Body Pinch Valve: The Series 4700 Spun Aluminum Pinch Valve is designed for low pressure service, in control or on/off applications. The Series 4700 is similar to the Type A, but the body is constructed entirely of spun aluminum for weight savings and easy installation. The air actuated Series 4700 is ideal for O.E.M accounts, Gravity Flow Applications, Pneumatic Conveying Systems and Waste Treatment Plants.
Series 9000 High Pressure Pinch Valve: The Series 9000 high-pressure manual pinch valve is designed with ANSI Class 300 flange drilling. The heavy-duty elastomer sleeves are reinforced with high strength nylon, polyester fabrics, or Kevlar material. Several heavy-duty sleeve designs are available. The elastomer sleeve will close even on solids, and the flexing action of the sleeve eliminates the possibility of scaling. Two heavy-duty pinch bars close the sleeve. All valve working parts are isolated from the process by the sleeve. Combining these features with a sealed body design and no packing to maintain, results in a simple, rugged, no-hang-up, maintenance-free valve.

Type R: All Rubber Pinch Valve - Red Valve\'s Type R All-Elastomer Pinch Valve is an ideal valve for water, chemical, solids, and slurry applications. The valve is easily installed between two pieces of pipe with hose clamps. Simply add 20 psi air pressure over line pressure and the valve closes drop-tight.
Series 9000 High Pressure Control Pinch Valve: The Series 9000 high-pressure control pinch valve is Red Valve's ANSI Class 300# control valve product. The heavy-duty elastomer sleeves are reinforced with high strength nylon, polyester fabrics, or Kevlar material. Several heavy-duty sleeve designs are available - standard full port for on/off isolation applications; double wall for severe abrasive applications; cone, reduced port, and variable orifice designs for control applications. The elastomer sleeve will close even on solids, and the flexing action of the sleeve eliminates the possibility of scaling. Combining these features with a sealed body design and no packing to maintain, results in a simple, rugged, no-hang-up, maintenance-free valve.
Series 5400 Pinch Control Valve: Red Valve’s redesigned Series 5400 Control Pinch Valve features centerline valve closure, true feedback positioning, compact size, enclosed mechanical parts, and accurate, repeatable variable venturi flow control. Centerline closure is extremely important for larger size pinch on extremely abrasive and high velocity applications. Centerline closure outlasts all other types of gate, plug, or ball valves on control of abrasive and corrosive slurries. The resilient elastomer sleeve outlasts even stellite coated control valves.
Series 5800E - Electric Actuated Control Pinch Valve: The Series 5800E Electrically Actuated Control Pinch Valve is reliable, maintenance-free and cost effective. Replacing a plug valve, gate valve or ball valve is easy with a 5800E because of it has the same face-to-face dimensions. There are no seats to grind, no stuffing box to repack, and no packing gland to adjust ever. The rugged, self-cleaning elastomer sleeve isolates all mechanical pars of the mechanism, so the break away torque remains constant.
Series 5300 Pinch Control Valve: Red Valve Company has developed a new open frame control pinch valve, the Series 5300. The Series 5300 valve features many of the same advantages of the Series 5200 line of control pinch valves, in a light-weight, low-cost open frame design. The open frame design is possible because the sleeve is the only wetted part of the pinch valve, protecting the operating mechanism and frame from corrosive or abrasive attack from the line process. A heavy-duty, rugged pinch mechanism pinches the sleeve, resulting in accurate flow control. The Series 5300 has no packing to maintain or seats to wear, and is well suited for handling corrosives, powders, and slurries.
Series 5200 Pneumatic Control Pinch Valve: The Red Valve Series 5200 Control Valve design offers maximum durability with precise control and virtually eliminates maintenance. The Series 5200 valve is designed in sizes 1” to 4”. A heavy duty, rugged pinch mechanism positions the sleeve, resulting in accurate flow control. The valve has no packing to maintain or seats to wear, and the need for expensive body alloys is eliminated.
Series 5200 Diaphram Actuated Control Pinch Valve: In smaller sizes, the Series 5200 is available with a diaphragm actuator. The quick-response and low-hysteresis of a diaphragm actuator allows the 5200 to react quickly to input signals. This gives the 5200 Diaphragm great accuracy and repeatability on small-diameter slurry lines.
Series 5200E Control Pinch Valve: The Series 5200E electrically actuated control valve is a reliable, maintenance-free, cost-effective valve, designed for tough slurry and abrasive applications. There are no seats to grind, no stuffing boxes to repack, and no packing glands to adjust, ever. The rugged, self-cleaning elastomer sleeve isolates all mechanical parts of the valve, so the breakaway torque remains constant.
Series 5200D Control Pinch Valve: Red Valve's Series 5200 D-Port control valve design results in an economical control valve choice. When fully open, the D-Port has 95% of the flow of a full-ported valve. Flow control begins immediately, providing a linear flow characteristic. The D-Port configuration employs a single actuator which closes from the top. This design shortens the actuator stroke, which in turn reduces operating costs. An external stroke adjustment is provided. The rugged elastomer sleeve is self-cleaning, with no packing to maintain, and provides accurate, repeatable control. The Series 5200 D-Port control valve can be furnished with a standard, double wall, or cone or sleeve design.
Series RSR Pressure Relief Pinch Control Valve: The Red Valve Series RSR Pressure Relief Valve is designed specifically for slurry applications. It is a reliable relief valve available for slurry service, venting surge pressures in the system, or to maintain system pressure. The valve operates very simply – making use of a spring loaded cylinder, which keeps a rugged reinforced rubber pinch valve sleeve pinched closed. As process pressure builds up and exceeds the tension set by the spring, the valve opens. The greater the pressure build–up, the more the valve opens. Since the sleeve isolates the process from the pinch mechanism, corrosion, bridging, plugging, and valve freezing are eliminated.
