The GA Industries CHECKtronic® Pump Control Valve minimizes pressure surges during pump start-up and normal shutdown and its flow efficient long radius elbow or wye body provides low head loss and reduced operating cost. __The Checktronic® Pump Control Valve uses a reputable brand name electric motor actuator to control the valve’s opening and closing. The actuator is sized for the operating conditions and incorporates a digital “pulse feature” to permit the stroke time to be easily field adjusted. __The valve’s built-in, spring-assisted check feature automatically closes, independent of the actuator, to prevent reverse flow upon pump, motor or power failure. Its combination of simple electric motor actuation and a fail-safe integral check feature provides an effective, reliable and compact solution to control pressure surges associated with operation of water, wastewater or sewage pumps.
